Qualifications:

Qualifications required include a PhD (or equivalent research training) +/- an MD. Clinician Scientist (MD) applicants also require certification in Internal Medicine and sub-specialty certification in Gastroenterology.

The Clinician Scientist (MD) candidates must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.

Must read, write and speak English.

Compensation: This position will be funded through the University of Calgary +/- the Department of Medicine Academic Medicine and Health Services Program. Remuneration will depend on the candidates training and qualifications. Clinician Scientist remuneration will be in the range of $375,000 - $505,000 CAN per annum, as funded through the Department of Medicine Academic Medicine and Health Services Program. The position includes an Academic Full Time equivalent appointment as a Tenured Associate Professor or Tenured Professor at the University of Calgary. Benefits will be available through the University of Calgary Group Benefits program.
