Job Description:

Sturgeon Plaza MD Centre is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Physician to join our growing community-based practice in St. Albert, Alberta.

Our modern medical clinic provides comprehensive family medicine for patients of all ages. We offer scheduled appointments, same-day appointments, walk-in care, after-hours services, and convenient online booking.

The successful physician will provide comprehensive, patient-centred care with an emphasis on continuity of care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and the assessment and treatment of acute medical concerns.

Sturgeon Plaza MD Centre is part of the MD Centres network serving St. Albert and the greater Edmonton region.

 

Qualifications:

  • Hold, or be eligible to obtain, registration and a practice permit with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA. 
  • Hold a Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Maintain appropriate medical liability protection.
  • Be eligible to obtain an Alberta Health practitioner identification number.
  • Demonstrate competency in comprehensive family medicine, including the management of acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare needs.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Meet all applicable English-language proficiency requirements.
