Must be eligible to practice as an OB/Gyne Specialist as per CPSA standards – required
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada – desired
Fellowship or equivalent – desired
Experienced OB/GYN with strong surgical skills.
Candidate must have hands on experience offering OBGYN services as the sole provider within the past 1-2 years.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) – desired
Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) – desired
Advances in Labour and Risk Management (ALARM) – required
Managing Obstetrical Risk Efficiently (MOREOB) – required
NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program - required
The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Preference will be given to applicants who do not require a Practice Readiness Assessment.
Must read, write and speak English.
