Qualifications include an MD with certification in Cardiology and a proven record of administrative excellence. Eligibility for licensure in cardiology in the Province of Alberta is required. Previous experience in a city or provincial health care system and administrative experience are assets for the position of Section Chief of Cardiology.
Applicants at the Associate Professor level must present evidence of a strong publication record, evidence of successful teaching and supervision, and evidence of established academic engagement in professional and other communities.
Applicants at the Professor level must provide evidence of an outstanding academic publication record, outstanding teaching and supervision record and evidence of academic service and/or leadership.
The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Must read, write and speak English.
