Qualifications:
Candidates must have the following qualifications: MD, Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent) in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. A minimum of 12 months of additional training in Pediatric Heart Transplant/Heart Function is required. Candidates must have training or practice experience in a tertiary care center within the preceding 3 years.
Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) or proof of Eligibility for Alberta Licensure is required (to be included with the application).
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and proven leadership in working with multiple providers and teams, academic interests and a strong commitment to education and clinical care.
Must read, write and speak English.
