Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a strong background in all aspects of gastroenterology, and there is an expectation that they will drive research and contribute to education. The successful candidate will have completed at least 1 year of post-gastroenterology clinical fellowship specialized training in inflammatory bowel diseases including specific training in intestinal ultrasound. Research will be an important focus with an expectation for academic output that accompanies 55% protected time. The position is specifically tailored to foster rewarding career development. Moreover, the candidate should also show demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and will be expected to participate in the undergraduate as well as postgraduate teaching activities of the Section and Department. The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. Must read, write, and speak English. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and Permanent Residents will be given priority. |
