Academic Gastroenterologist

The successful candidate must have a strong background in all aspects of gastroenterology, and there is an expectation that he/she will drive research and contribute to education in advanced endoscopy at the University of Calgary. The successful candidate will have completed at least 1 year of post-gastroenterology clinical fellowship training in advanced therapeutic endoscopy. The position will involve clinical work in pancreaticobiliary endoscopy including ERCP and EUS.  Research will be an important focus with an expectation for high academic output. The position is specifically tailored to foster rewarding career development. Moreover, the candidate should also show demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and will be expected to participate in the undergraduate as well as postgraduate teaching activities of the Section and Department. 

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
