Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent and a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery or equivalent, and must be eligible for licensure in the Province of Alberta. The successful candidate must have successfully completed advanced fellowship training in hand and upper extremity reconstruction. Advanced research degrees such as a Master’s or PhD would be an asset. The successful candidate will be expected to apply for a Clinical Academic Colleague appointment in the Department of Surgery, University of Alberta, which will be considered a separate process through the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
Remuneration will be on a fee-for-services basis through billings submitted by the physician to Alberta Health.
