Qualifications include a MD and PhD, an outstanding record of research productivity with publications in high impact journals, success in the acquisition of external research funding and awards. The applicant must also meet the requirements outlined for the Canada Research Chair. Demonstrated leadership ability through program development and implementation will be valued. Contributions to trainee supervision, mentorship and teaching will be expected. An ability to initiate collaborations and work successfully in multidisciplinary teams is essential. Previous research experience spanning the spectrum of acute and chronic pain (acute to chronic) is an asset
The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
