Qualifications:

Qualifications include an MD, FRCPC Gastroenterology, and eligibility for licensure in the Province of Alberta. Additional fellowship training in hepatology is considered an asset.

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.

Must read, write, and speak English.

Compensation: Fee for service. The Alberta Medical Association's Continuing Medical Education (CME) program reimburses physicians for expenses incurred during education sessions through an agreement between the Alberta Medical Association and Alberta Health. The annual allotment of $2,562.50 carries forward for three years. The physician is responsible for purchasing health and insurance benefits and maintaining medical malpractice insurance through the Canadian Medical Protection Association (CMPA). The Practitioner is responsible for purchasing health and insurance benefits.
