The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology within the Department of Medicine at the University of Calgary and Alberta Health Services (AHS) invites applications for a position as a fulltime community-based general gastroenterologist. The role will also include a focus in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).

Qualifications:
Qualifications include an MD, FRCPC Gastroenterology, and eligibility for licensure in the Province of Alberta. Additional qualifications include specialized training in IBD. Remuneration will come from fee for service billings through Alberta Health.
Applicants should have a strong background in all aspects of gastroenterology and IBD. The successful candidate will have completed at least 12 months of post-gastroenterology specialized clinical fellowship training in IBD. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will contribute to teaching within the Division and will be part of GI Central Access and Triage (GI CAT)
The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
