Alberta Health Services, Department of Medicine, in conjunction with the University of Calgary invites applications for two full-time clinical nephrologists. Experience with multidisciplinary care for individuals with kidney disease is required.
Additional specialized interest/training in medical education, home dialysis therapies, glomerulonephritis, Indigenous kidney care, chronic kidney disease, quality improvement, medical informatics or other areas of clinical care for patients with kidney disease will be considered an asset, but not a requirement, for the successful applicant.
60% clinical service in all areas of nephrology including ambulatory care (CKD, General Nephrology, GN), dialysis, hospital inpatient and consultation. Weeknight and weekend call (12 weeks of service, 3 - 4 half day clinics/week).
25% education in the Division of Nephrology and Department of Medicine (Fellowship and Resident Training) and the Cumming School of Medicine (Undergraduate Medical Education).
5% research in nephrology or quality improvement initiatives.
Be an integral part of the Nephrology team in Calgary, utilizing strong collaborative skills to support and contribute to the overall clinical, research and education mission of the Section.

Qualifications include:
· MD, FRCPC (Nephrology)
· Eligibility for licensure in the province of Alberta
· Established reputable excellence in clinical care and teaching of medical students and residents
· Expertise in dialysis including peritoneal and home dialysis therapies
· Research /QI experience in nephrology
