Clinical Transplant Cardiologist

The University of Calgary, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Section of Transplant Medicine, in partnership with Alberta Health Services invite applications for an academic position in Advanced Heart Failure / Cardiac Transplantation.

 We are looking for an early to mid-career specialist physician to join our team at the Southern Alberta Transplant Program in Calgary, Alberta.  This is a salaried academic position within the Section of Transplant Medicine, Department of Medicine.  Applicants must have completed specialty training in Advance Heart Failure / Cardiac Transplantation and have additional training and experience in clinical research.  The successful applicant will be required to provide inpatient and outpatient Advanced Heart Failure clinical services as well as participate in Section and Program educational and development activities. Academic requirements will be research-focused and will include grant writing, implementation of research projects and working in partnership with members of the Section and Department to develop and strengthen our research programs.
