Asperia Medical Clinic is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary healthcare facility committed to providing exceptional medical care to our community. With a focus on family practice and walk-in services, we are now expanding our services to include specialized pediatric care. Our team of professionals strives to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
 

We are seeking a dedicated Community Pediatrician to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality medical care to children in our community while working in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients from birth to adolescence.
  • Manage acute and chronic illnesses, developmental concerns, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with families to develop care plans tailored to the unique needs of each child.
  • Support children with developmental, behavioral, and mental health challenges, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers, specialists, and community resources to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the clinic's EMR system.
  • Uphold Asperia Medical Clinic's commitment to excellence, compassion, and patient-centered care.

  

Qualifications:

  • Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
  • Medical degree with specialization in Pediatrics.
  • Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or equivalent.
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of pediatric cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in pediatric medicine.
