COMMUNITY: Family and General Practitioner - Ranchlands Medical Centre - Calgary

Qualifications:

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and provide proof of malpractice insurance from The Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA). Must read, write, and speak English. Only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. 

Community Information:

Ranchlands community is located in NW of Calgary area, under-supported by health services. Surrounding communities such as Hawkwood, Arbor Lake, Citadel including other smaller communities seek care in Ranchlands, Our clinic provides full spectrum of patient care from infant to geriatrics, including prenatal care and postnatal care after delivery Ranchlands with the other communities in NW has a combined population of approximately more than 1,080,000 residents. The said population does not include the other smaller communities. The population is divided over the age of 65 and school-aged children, requiring the care of local doctors. Access to a family physician in Ranchlands would increase access to patients travel great distances and will be helpful for home-bound aging or complex residents and working families.
