Job Description:
Old Scona Medical Centre is seeking a compassionate and committed Family Physician to join our vibrant, full-scope primary care team in Edmonton, Alberta. This position is part of the CPSA sponsorship stream and is ideal for internationally trained physicians holding a CPSA eligibility letter.
Our clinic is open 7 days a week with extended evening hours, allowing our physicians to provide flexible, accessible care and ensure patients receive the attention they need-when they need it. In addition to booked appointments, our physicians also see walk-in patients, helping address urgent medical concerns and maintain continuity of care for the community.
Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
Eligible for registration and licensure with the CPSA under the Practice Readiness Assessment or Provisional Register (as applicable)
Demonstrated commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care across all age groups
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical decision-making skills
Willingness to work in both scheduled appointments and walk-in care settings
Comfortable practicing in a collaborative team environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with medical guidelines and best practices
