COMMUNITY: Family Medicine - Medistar Family Practice Walk-in Clinic - Calgary

Qualifications:

Education and Training:

Medical Degree: A medical degree from an accredited medical school recognized by the CPSA.

Residency Training:

Completion of a residency training program in Family Medicine or General Practice, accredited by the appropriate authority in the candidate's country.

Certification:

Certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC): Preferred but not mandatory. International Medical Graduates (IMGs) may need to undergo additional assessments or training.
Licensure Exams: Successful completion of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) Part I and Part II or the equivalent exams recognized by the CPSA.

Professional Experience:

Clinical Experience: Relevant clinical experience in a primary care setting, typically a minimum of 2-5 years post-residency. Experience should demonstrate competence in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions.

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Licensing and Registration:

Eligibility for Registration with CPSA: Ability to meet all CPSA registration requirements, including passing any required assessments such as the Practice Readiness Assessment (PRA) if applicable.

Good Standing: Must be in good standing with the medical regulatory authority in the country where they are currently practicing.
