COMMUNITY: Family Physician - Albany Medical Clinic - Edmonton

Qualifications:

Fulfilled CPSA' Eligibility Requirements for the registration with CPSA. 
Physicians trained in the USA, UK, Ireland, or Australia can also apply. 
Term Contract/Commitment with Clinic.

Community Information:

The clinic is located in North Edmonton, serving a diverse population from both Edmonton and St. Albert. Situated in a large market plaza with multiple services, the clinic attracts a significant number of patients. Over the past few years, the area has seen the constriction of three large multilevel buildings, increasing population density and drawing in more seniors.
Our patient population is varied, with 75% being under the age of 60. We provide a full spectrum of family medicine services, including geriatrics and prenatal care. Given the demographics, we frequently encounter musculoskeletal conditions. Additionally, mental health concerns and follow-ups account for 25% of our vision.
Unfortunately, one of our family physicians will be leaving the clinic this July due to family reasons, impaction over 3 000 patients. ADDDITIONALLY, TWO NEARBY CLINICS HAVE CLOSED, AND ANOTHER PHYSICIAN HAS RELOCATED FROM Blue Spruce Medical. This has increased the demand for family physicians, particularly with the retirement of several physicians in the St. Albert area. Our staff faces daily interactions with patients seeking family physicians that we currently cannot accommodate.
Adding two family physicians will significantly improve our ability to provide consistent and comprehensive healthcare to our patients, ensuring continuity of care for our patient pane.
