Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, as well as promoting preventive care and overall wellness. Balwin Medical Center is a Family & Walk-ins Clinic located at Noth Side of Edmonton that has about 2 Practicing family physicians, nurse and MOAs.

Workplace information: On site
Salary: 250,000 to 350,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: To be determined

Clinic Responsibilities Tasks:
- Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals
- Examine patients' health condition to identify diseases and injuries
- Help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits and reshape their approach to wellness
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment
- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Advise patients on health care
- Supervise staff
- Be the patient advocate
- Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
- Provide acute care management
- Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
- Credentials: Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
