About MediCan Clinic by Asperia:
MediCan Clinic by Asperia is the second clinic site within the growing Asperia Medical network. Conveniently located in Edmonton, MediCan Clinic offers comprehensive family practice and walk-in medical services to a diverse and expanding patient community.
Our primary clinic location (Site One) currently has six full-time family physicians. MediCan Clinic (Site Two) currently includes one full-time and two part-time family physicians. Due to increased patient demand and our commitment to enhancing healthcare access, we are actively seeking three additional family physicians to join our dedicated team.
Support Staff and Resources:
Physicians at MediCan Clinic will enjoy strong, dedicated in-house support from experienced Medical Office Assistants (MOAs) and nursing staff, ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care. Additionally, as part of our affiliation with the Primary Care Network (PCN), our physicians benefit from access to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), a behavioral consultant, and an extensive range of supplementary services, including:
- Registered Dietitian
- Exercise Therapist
- Mental Health Support
- Geriatric Support Services

Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
Completion of a residency program in family medicine or equivalent as accepted by CPSA.
Certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) is desired.
Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) - Provisional or General Register
Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a wide range of medical conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to providing patient-centered and compassionate care.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Experience in using Healthquest EMR is desired.
