Manor Clinic is a renowned psychiatric practice in Edmonton, Alberta, dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care. Our clinic offers a calming and supportive environment surrounded by nature, fostering healing and well-being for our patients. We specialize in evidence-based treatments, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), ketamine therapy, and psychological therapies, in addition to standard psychiatric care.
We are seeking a dynamic and committed General Adult Psychiatrist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a psychiatrist passionate about community mental health, innovative treatments, and a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will:
- Establish and maintain a full-time community psychiatric practice in Edmonton.
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric consultations and ongoing care for adults with diverse mental health conditions.
- Utilize pharmacological treatments and psychological therapies as part of individualized care plans.
- Administer and oversee innovative treatments, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and ketamine therapy, when clinically indicated.
- Leverage Telehealth and other digital platforms for patient assessments, management, and consultations as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health therapists, and administrative staff to provide holistic care.
- Participate in teaching activities and engage in continuing medical education initiatives.
- Contribute to administrative responsibilities, including program development and quality improvement initiatives, aligned with the clinic's vision and goals.
Qualifications:
- Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
