Candidate must have hands on Diagnostic Imaging/Medical Imaging experience in Rural setting within the past 1-2 years. Experience in offering these services as the sole provider required.

Preference will be given to applicants who do not require, or have completed, the CPSA Practice Readiness Assessment (PRA-AB).

Cold lake is named after the one of the deepest lake in Alberta with a population of approx. 20,000 residents, including Canadian Forces Air Force base. There is a lot of opportunity of fishing, boating and camping as there is a provincial campground at the outskirts of the city. CGPC group has been proudly serving the people of Cold Lake and Northeast Alberta for over 14 years in the Cold Lake hospital, surrounding community hospitals and in community clinics. The group provides a full complement of services at Cold Lake Health Care Centre Covenant Health Bonnyville and 2 other hospitals in rural Alberta. The practice provides the radiologists an opportunity to practice a wide variety of modalities including CT, ultrasound, echocardiography, X-ray, mammography, bone mineral densitometry, body composition, Barium fluoroscopic studies, as well as therapeutic pain injections into multiple joints and bursae, and spine injections. An opportunity for an excellent balance between the hospital and clinic work. There is an opportunity to further expand these services at the hospital and at the clinics, such as biopsies and non-vascular intervention.
