Position Description and Responsibilities/Duties:
The Hamptons Medical Clinic is seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join the team. The successful candidate will participate in improving health outcomes for patients through comprehensive preventative care strategies and will:

- Provide comprehensive primary care services to individuals of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory disorders, mental health and addiction medicine.
- Perform in office minor procedures.
- Provide preventive care measures, through ensuring vaccinations and regular health screenings are up to date.
- Promote healthy lifestyle.
- Provide a proactive approach to address potential emerging health issues.
- Act as a patient advocate ensuring access to resources and services.
- Provide after hours on-call.
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to individuals of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
Hamptons Medical Clinic is a four-physician practice for family medicine and walk-in patients. Recently renovated with windowed office and physician parking out back, the clinic also has a large parking lot of patients. Situated in the heart of the west Edmonton, in a vibrant well-developed neighbourhood of Hamptons. Easily located from a main artery road from Anthony Henday in a shopping complex with a grocery store, restaurants and other fine businesses. There are many young families, schools, and senior centers in close vicinity.

Qualifications:
As per the CPSA's eligibility requirements guidelines. Applicants should be Eligible for a CPSA license and willing to undergo a Practice Readiness Assessment as outlined by the CPSA. The applicant will apply for and maintain a Community Appointment with Alberta Health Services, in the Department of Family Medicine
