Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a license to practice Family Medicine in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, and have a designation as a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or equivalent, with experience in primary care clinical service delivery. An active Medical Staff Appointment with Alberta Health Services will be a requirement and can be applied for upon acceptance of the role. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated interest and expertise in the management of complex primary care patients and expert level skills in relationship building and communication. The candidate must also be member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association or have suitable liability insurance to the satisfaction of AHS. They will also require a security check (police information check and vulnerable sector search) from a local police agency where they have lived for at least 6 months, and a completed communicable disease assessment .We thank all applicants for their interest, only those individuals selected for an interview will be contacted.
