General Hematologist

The Section of Hematology, Calgary Zone, seeks to recruit a General Hematologist to work at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. The Hematology Clinic is in a large subspecialty clinic in an urban hospital. The clinic includes access to Day Medicine and supports outpatient procedures such as bone marrow biopsies. The position includes participation in the inpatient Hematology Consult Service at Peter Lougheed Hospital and the Foothills Medical Center on a rotational basis, up to 12 weeks per year. The Peter Lougheed Hospital is an academic teaching hospital in urban Calgary serving a diverse population. Teaching opportunities within the Internal Medicine and Hematology Training Programs exist.
