Qualifications:
Applicants must be a qualified medical doctor with specialist certification in obstetrics and gynecology; applicants must be eligible for independent practice through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), and must read, write, and speak English.
The successful candidate will have their FRCPC with specialist certification in obstetrics and gynecology (or equivalent); demonstrated the ability to work with and manage a multi-disciplinary team; superior interpersonal communication skills; and strong surgical skills including extensive laparoscopic skills and training. Colposcopy accreditation and experience in Quality Assurance and Safety reviews required.
All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and Permanent Residents will be given priority and preference will be given to candidates who do not require a Practice Readiness Assessment or require only a Supervised Practice Assessment as part of the licensing process.
