Neuro-Urologist
RGH, Calgary, Alberta
The Department of Surgery, Alberta Health Services–Calgary Zone and the University of Calgary invite applications for the position of A 0.5 FTE Neuro-urologist to work at the Rockyview General Hospital. Qualifications include an MD, certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Urology, and fellowship training in neuro-urology. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in the province of Alberta. The position will commence July 1, 2025.
The successful candidate will become a member of the Section of Urology. Clinical responsibilities include functional urology. The successful candidate will have access to SAIU, RGH, cystoscopy, urodynamics, surgery. The chosen candidate will be required to provide full call coverage as required by the Section of Urology at the Rockyview General Hospital, and in accordance with Alberta Health Services policies.
The surgeon will be expected to apply for a clinical appointment with the University of Calgary, Cumming School of Medicine, Department of Surgery and to participate in medical student, resident and fellows teaching. They will also be expected to take on some responsibility in the areas of education, research and administration.
