Qualifications:
Qualifications include an MD degree and membership with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in the specialty of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (or equivalent). Applicants should have completed at least a one-year post-residency fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology. Eligibility for licensure in the province of Alberta is mandatory. Additional research education at the PhD or master’s level is preferred and if not already completed, should be pursued during the early career stages. Established track record in clinical research will be preferred. The successful candidate will hold a primary appointment in the Department of Surgery, Section of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. Active membership in the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute and the Ohlson Research Initiative (ORI) is expected. Substantial contributions to the educational mandate of the department and section to the wider research and education culture of the Cumming School of Medicine are required for this position.
