Qualified physicians will have completed the CFPC (College of Family Physicians of Canada) Added Year of Competency training in Palliative Care or the RCSPC (Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Canada) Palliative Medicine subspecialty or equivalent education, or will have acquired several years of experience as a palliative consultant. An interest in leadership or research or education in Palliative Medicine would be an asset.
Interested physicians must be eligible for a full, unrestricted license in Alberta and hold current CMPA coverage. Physicians with CCFP or FRCPC degrees will be given priority.

In accordance with the Policy, all contractors and AHS employees, including medical and midwifery staff are required to be fully immunized against COVID-19 prior to their first day of practice.
