Depending upon the qualifications and experience of the applicant, this position will be comprised of clinical service (maximum 80%). The successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality in-patient and out-patient care to a variety of Pediatric Oncology patients as part of a multidisciplinary team at the Stollery Children’s Hospital, Alberta Health Services. The remainder of time will be allocated to academic pursuits: either teaching and/or research. Research can be done in any area within Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Interested applicants must hold an MD and must have completed a subspecialty residency in Pediatric Oncology, and be certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Pediatric Hematology/Oncology).
