Pediatric Respirologist FFS

The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Respirology is seeking a 1.0 FFS 100% clinical position, starting November 2024.

Clinical service will include inpatient acute care wards for general respiratory service, admitting service for respiratory service, admitting service for respiratory patients plus on call duties. Ambulatory clinics, bronchoscopy in the OR and interpretation of pulmonary function studies will comprise the remainder of the clinical work. 

A respirologist with formal training, experience and expertise in pediatric sleep medicine and polysomnography is highly valued, as is an interest in general pulmonary medicine, oxygen clinic and patients with complex respiratory conditions requiring long term O2 support, and complex airway and long term ventilation.

The final composition of clinical work will be determined in collaboration with the section in the priority of areas of greatest immediate need. The final composition of clinical work will also include provision of on-call services for nights, weekends, and holidays shared amongst the physician group.
