The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Respirology is seeking a 0.8 FTE 100% clinical Locum position to cover a one year leave, starting September 2024.
Clinical service will include inpatient acute care wards for general respiratory service, admitting service for respiratory service, admitting service for respiratory patients plus on call duties. Ambulatory clinics, bronchoscopy in the OR and interpretation of pulmonary function studies will comprise the remainder of the clinical work. 

The final composition of clinical work will be determined in collaboration with the section in the priority of areas of greatest immediate need. The final composition of clinical work will also include provision of on-call services for nights, weekends, and holidays shared amongst the physician group.

Qualifications include certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Pediatrics.  

The candidate must be eligible for an independent practice permit with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.  

Candidates must have an established commitment to excellence in clinical care.  Any expertise in Quality Improvement, will be an asset, and an interest in medical education and teaching.
