Pediatric Sleep Physician

The Department of Pediatrics (DoP), invite applicants to apply to this 0.20 FTE, Fee for Service position at the Alberta Children’s hospital, within Alberta Health Services, Calgary Zone, Section of Pediatric Respirology.   

This position is a 0.20 FTE, Fee for Service position, specializing Pediatric Sleep. 
The applicant will need to be trained in pediatric sleep medicine with expertise in non-respiratory sleep conditions and be able to handle (consider use of this phrase ‘provide sleep care for’ in place of handle) the increasing population of patients with complex neurodevelopmental disorders with co-existing sleep disorders. 
The position is 100% clinical, to fill the urgent clinical needs of the section of respirology. Clinical service is expected to consist of 2 half days per week, in the ambulatory sleep clinics, Wednesday morning/Thursday afternoon.  Related clinical tasks of prescribing and managing non-invasive PAP treatment for non-complex sleep apnea patients.
