The successful applicant will join the two current pediatric urologists who provide a full range of elective and emergency services at the Stollery Children’s Hospital for patients up to the age of 18 years. The job description will include a commitment to clinical care delivery, education and research. Applicants are expected to have superior technical surgical skills, clinical judgment and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team.
The successful candidate must be a surgeon having fulfilled the fellowship qualifications of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Urology with subspecialty fellowship training in Pediatric Urology, and be eligible for licensure in the province of Alberta. Advanced laparoscopic training is considered essential.
Remuneration will be on a fee-for-service basis through billings submitted by the physician to Alberta Health.
