Description:

Internal Medicine Specialists working primarily in ambulatory care in our region, will work out of both SHC and potentially RRDTC general internal medicine clinic.  The scope of practice includes seeing patients with complex medical conditions as well as seeing patients with chronic, undefined medical symptoms. 

 It is intended that at least 3 – ½ day clinics are attended to weekly and may increase as demand or physician availability requires.

Qualifications:

The successful candidates require subspecialty certification in Internal Medicine by the RCPSC.  Certification in Obesity Medicine and/or Lifestyle Medicine would be an asset.  Experience seeing patients with complex chronic disease is required. 

Candidates must be eligible for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and have subspecialty certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. 

 The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.

Must read, write, and speak English.
