Required:
·MD or equivalent.
·Certification with the Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP)
·Licensed or eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
·Appropriate Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage.
·ACLS Certification.
·Expertise and commitment to quality care and patient safety.
·Demonstrated commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) in the healthcare environment.
·Understanding of Just Culture and its role in healthcare.
Applicants must have current experience in the clinical management of acute care inpatients, and/or experience in emergency room services.
This position will not support a practice readiness assessment.
