The Department of Pediatrics (DoP), invite applicants to apply to this 0.25 FTE, AMHSP Short-Term Locum position (approximately four months) at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, within Alberta Health Services, Calgary Zone.
This 0.25 FTE, AMHSP Locum Position supporting the Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Team (SCAN), will work in a competent and professional manner, by providing Clinical Services including inpatient consultations to the SCAN team, ambulatory clinics (located at the Luna Child Advocacy Centre), support to the multidisciplinary triage team at Luna and consultation for Luna’s partners which include Calgary Police Service, Children and Family Services, RCMP and Justice.
Other activities may also include clinic preparation, SCAN team meetings, unanticipated patient visits, indirect patient care actives, care planning, and telephone consultation.

Training or experience in the discipline of Child Maltreatment is preferred.
The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
