The Department of Pediatrics (DoP), invite applicants to apply to this 0.05 FTE, Short-Term Locum position, ending August 31, 2025, at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, in the Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic.
This is a well established, multidisciplinary, outpatient surgical clinic, located in the Sensory Clinic at the Alberta Children's Hospital. The pediatrician provides comprehensive pediatric consultations including assessment and investigation specific to cleft lip and palate. The pediatrician works closely with the other team physicians and allied health professionals to formulate comprehensive treatment plans. The clinical role may also include hospital consultations, support for clinic patients requiring inpatient care, availability for telephone consultations. Previous experience in the areas of cleft lip and palate is an asset but not required. Education and mentoring will be provided by the current clinic pediatricians. The successful applicant should be comfortable working with neonates, infants and children with complex medical and developmental needs. Experience with feeding and nutrition in infants is an asset.
Candidates must have availability for clinics through the summer months.
