The Department of Pediatrics (DoP), invite applicants to apply to this 0.05 FTE, Short-Term Locum position, ending October 31, 2025, at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, in the Vascular Anomalies Clinic.
This is a well established, multidisciplinary, outpatient surgical clinic, located in the Sensory Clinic at the Alberta Children's Hospital. Position involves diagnosing and treating vascular tumors/ malformations, with a primary focus on infantile hemangiomas. The pediatrician works closely with the other team physicians and allied health professionals. The clinical role also includes inpatient hospital consultations and phone consultations with NICU. Participation in clinic case rounds will support learning and development of clinical skills. Remuneration is fee for service. Experience in the areas of vascular anomalies and use of oral/ topical beta blockers is required. Education and mentoring will be provided by the current clinic pediatricians and vascular anomalies RN. Membership in Vascular Anomalies Canada an asset. Candidates must have availability for clinics through the summer months.
