The successful candidate will have medical experience and expertise in the identification and treatment of eye diseases in adults and children, particularly including care of neurological conditions that affect the vision and visual pathways. The candidate must have completed a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology. Residency background in either Ophthalmology or Neurology is required. The University of Alberta seeks a candidate with a proven track record of publication in peer reviewed journals. Research and clinical teaching experience is essential. Interest in resident training is of significant importance.
Applicants must be licensed in good standing, or eligible for licensure, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). Candidates will have completed a residency in ophthalmology or neurology . Interest in and background pertaining to resident training is a plus.
