Qualifications:

Interested applicants must have:

· an MD and have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care

· be certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Pediatrics or Anesthesia, and Critical Care)

· Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta

Assets:

2 to 5 years of established independent practice in a pediatric critical care environment

Community Info:
The Stollery Children's Hospital provides quaternary critical care services for the children of Northern Alberta, as well as the largest catchment area in Western Canada. The Stollery Pediatric Critical Care Units (PICU and PCICU) provide care to over 1000 patients per year and are responsible for providing a full array of cardiovascular, medical, and surgical treatments to those children both in and outside of Northern Alberta. The Stollery Children's Hospital PICU is home to very active and successful ECLS, transport, and pediatric solid organ transplant programs. The Division of Pediatric Critical Care supports a successful Royal College certified Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Residency program.
