Pediatric Site Lead, FMC

The Department of Pediatrics (DoP) invites applications to apply for a part-time 0.05 FTE Leadership position. 

This role will collaborate with other FMC Leaders and provide physician leadership and support for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of FMC newborn nursery clinical, education, research, and administrative activities as it relates to their specific department, vision, or program.

Accountabilities:
1. Communicate physician related issues for FMC to their medical leadership team, operations teams, and membership
2. Collaborate with other Calgary Zone physician leaders to develop, implement, and evaluate new models of medical service delivery at FMC
3. Collaborate with the University of Calgary to develop, implement, and evaluate innovative education and research models for FMC
4. Champion causes relevant to FMC
5. Accountable for training and orienting physicians at FMC
6. Collaborate with their Department, Section, Program Heads and FMC team to develop, implement and evaluate physician recruitment plan for FMC
7. Participate in committees related to the newborn nursery clinical operations.
