Section Chief – Medical Inpatient Care - FMC

Qualifications:

·       Physician with an Alberta medical license with experience in inpatient hospital medicine. Current or recent work in the Calgary hospitalist program is considered an asset

·       Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively develop and lead teams.

·       Demonstrated successful interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Proven organizational skills.

·       Knowledge of Calgary Zone–AHS structure, governance, clinical and operational departments.

·       Ability to identify and balance priorities and interests of the public, Alberta Health Services and physicians.

·       Clinical appointment with AHS, Calgary Zone

The candidate must have or be eligible for General Register with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
